A Sprinkle Cafe is Open in Leicester Square this Weekend!

Did you know that over 750,000 Dutch people eat sprinkles for breakfast every day? This is in the form of hagelslag – a popular local dish of sprinkles on buttered bread. Holland is also the sixth happiest place in the world according to the World Happiness Index. Coincidence? I think not!

This weekend (fri 22nd-sun 24th) easyJet have partnered up with the Netherlands Board of Tourism to transport Londoners to Holland with their pop-up sprinkle cafe; ‘Café van der Sprinkles’.

After entering through a plane door, visitors are immersed in an exciting (and sprinkle-licious) world of Dutch culture.

There are edible Dutch masterpieces created by The Meringue Girls, a DIY sprinkle menu so guests can create their own food art, a UV light show and even a beauty parlour offering sprinkle manicures and make-overs.

Ivy (@mypetitelondon) attended the cafe’s launch last night. Check out her experience here…
